Marrakesh v2In Marrakesh…

Thin sun bustles traffic
crazy taxis zigzag
cart-laden donkeys

Palm-striped courtyards
where fountains tinkle
blue reflected pools

Strident Muezzin’s call
wakes ancient minarets
and terracotta walls

Markets woven baskets
bulge rainbow pungent spices
sweet cheap stickiness
